The Role of Infill in Modern Turf Performance

What happens beneath the surface often defines the quality of the game.

In synthetic turf fields, the infill is a technical component hidden between the fibres that directly influences how the field feels, its comfort and temperature, and how it reacts to movement, as well as how players experience every sprint, pass, shot, and tackle.

Cork Infill for Sport Fields

Produced from recycled cork, Naturinfill was developed as a more natural alternative to traditional rubber infill. The field remains stable and responsive, while offering a softer and more comfortable interaction with the player.

Another important difference is temperature. While conventional rubber infill can retain heat under direct sunlight, causing the surface to become 20–30°C hotter, cork helps keep the field significantly cooler in warm conditions. This contributes to a more pleasant environment for athletes and supports better playing conditions throughout the day.

Naturinfill represents a step forward in sports surfaces for those seeking to enhance performance and player well-being.
